Although it is expensive at 40,000 yen per night, I chose that accommodation plan because I wanted to work slowly in a quiet lounge, the breakfast buffet was included, and I wanted to enjoy cocktail time in the lounge.

When I stayed in a room with club lounge access at Marriott Suriwongse three times in the past, I received free breakfast, but only the “meals served in the lounge” were eligible for free.
This time, the rule has been changed to allow the breakfast venue to be either the lounge or the hotel restaurant (Praya Kitchen), and since the restaurant has a more extensive menu, we chose that.
Praya Kitchen has a huge selection of items and the quality of the taste is high, so even if it’s not free, you should try it at least once.

Room reviews | Functional rooms suitable for workdays
The room I stayed in this time was “guest room“is.
The guest rooms are the cheapest category, but since this is a relatively new hotel, even the compact rooms were functional and comfortable.
Although the table is small, it has a power outlet and is perfect for working on a laptop.
A large safety box that can securely store my 15-inch laptop.This is a great point for working.

Another thing I like about this hotel is that the bathrooms are spacious.
Some hotels may have a bathtub, but you may have to separate it with a curtain.
If that happens, water may splash from the sides of the curtains, or the entire bathroom may become damp due to humidity.
However, here you can close the door completely with glass, keeping out water and moisture.
The bathtub and shower space are spacious, so you won’t feel cramped, and it will become a relaxing space.
My wife was enjoying the large bathtub with the bath salts she brought from Japan.

I’ve heard that some hotels have too many guests gathering in the lounge, resulting in congestion and lines waiting to enter the lounge.
However, I stayed here four times and it was empty every time, so I was able to enjoy both work and vacation.
The reason the lounge is empty is probably the location.
The area called Suriwongse where the hotel is located is a little far from the center of Bangkok and the riverside, and there are no tourist attractions nearby.
I think the lounge is empty because there aren’t many tourists, but it’s easy to work there, and I saw a few businessmen in the lounge.
The Wi-Fi is comfortable and there are power outlets at some seats, so you won’t have any problems while working, so it’s a good idea for businessmen to stay here.
The lounge is open 24 hours a day and soft drinks and snacks are always available, but we will introduce additional services depending on the time of day.

Most of the lounge users come for the cocktail hour, so this is the busiest time, but it wasn’t completely full.
