Introduction
I chose this as my final accommodation for my Bangkok workcation in September 2025.Millennium Hilton Bangkokis.
I spent the night before returning home from September 7th to 8th at this hotel.

Why did we choose this hotel?
Originally, our regular accommodation in the riverside area was the Royal Orchid Sheraton.
That hotel also had a good view, location, and work environment, but I had always been interested in the Hilton, which is located on the Icon Siam side across the Chao Phraya River and is adjacent to it.
I will summarize the reasons why I chose Millennium Hilton into work and vacation aspects.

Accessible within 5 minutes walkTherefore, being able to easily enjoy shopping, dining, and the night view is a great advantage.
Room reviews
This time I stayed atexecutive room。
Located on a high floor, the view of the Chao Phraya River and Icon Siam from the large windows is breathtaking.
The hotel opened in 2006,Renovated in 2020Overall comfortable.
The desk is small, but there is a sofa and power supply, so you can work comfortably.
The Wi-Fi speed is stable and I have no problems working on my PC.
The safety box is also large enough to fit a laptop.So, it’s safe to work with.
The only drawback was that the shower temperature was inconsistent.
It may be a little bothersome after a long shower.
As a side note, the space and height of the space next to the window was perfect for a standing desk, and combined with the view spreading out before my eyes, I couldn’t help but get absorbed in my work here.
There’s no doubt that it wasn’t originally designed as a standing desk, but I thought to myself, “I could work here every day…” (lol)
lounge
It is located on the low floor of the lounge on the 3rd floor of the Millennium Hilton Bangkok.
I had expected that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the view, but my expectations were completely betrayed in a good way.

The work environment is quiet and spacious, and I occasionally saw people working on their computers.
During cocktail hour, the staff went around the table and asked, “Would you like a refill of your drink?” The service was friendly.

It is also frequented by families and casual travelers, so if you want a quiet time, you may want to choose a time slot.

Shopping, dining, cafes, and night views are all within walking distance, so you won’t have to worry about what to do during your stay.
I didn’t eat at the restaurant in the hotel, but ate Thai food I bought at the Icon Siam food court in my room.
There is a branch of a Thai restaurant that has won a Michelin Bib Gourmand, authentic Japanese food, and a stylish bar, but even takeout from the food court is delicious!
Advantages and disadvantages of Millennium Hilton Bangkok
Let me summarize the advantages and disadvantages of working at this hotel.

- Both the guest room and the lounge are comfortable and you can work quietly.

- Enjoy river views from the pool and lounge
Disadvantages
- Shower temperature is unstable
- Since it is a large hotel, there are many families and light travelers at the pool, so it may be uncomfortable.
- It is on the opposite side of the river from the center, so moving to the center such as Sukhumvit requires crossing the river, which is a bit inconvenient.
