The JAL International Lounge at Haneda is divided into the Sakura Lounge on the 4th floor and the Sakura Lounge Sky View on the 5th floor, and the Sky View in particular has an outstanding sense of openness. Being able to look at JAL planes from the large windows will liven up your travel mood.

It’s a light buffet style with standard menu items such as salads, egg dishes, chicken ham (because it’s Muslim), roast potatoes, and fruit. Revisiting Haneda and Bangkok lounges in 2026
During my trip to Bangkok in May 2026, I used my JAL Global Club membership to enter the airport lounge.
The following four locations were used this time.
- Haneda Airport Sakura Lounge Sky View
- Haneda Airport International Sakura Lounge (4th floor)
- Suvarnabhumi Airport Oman Air Lounge
- Suvarnabhumi Airport JAL Sakura Lounge
Haneda moved from Sky View to Sakura Lounge on the 4th floor
At Haneda Airport, I first used the Sakura Lounge Sky View for about 2 hours starting around 6pm. It was empty at this time of day, so I was able to relax and watch the planes from the window.
The lounge staff told me that after check-in for the late-night London flight JL41 begins, it tends to get crowded as eligible passengers come to Sky View, and food can run out quickly after being replenished.
Therefore, I moved to the Sakura Lounge on the 4th floor before it got crowded and stayed there for about 4 hours before departure.
The Sakura Lounge on the 4th floor has a lot of seating, seats with power outlets, and quiet areas. I found it easier to secure a work space, and it was easier to use for long hours of checking emails and working on the computer.
The Wi-Fi speed measured this time was 14Mbps. These are reference values when measuring, but there were no problems with normal email or web work.

Oman Air Lounge is small but quiet and the food is delicious
At Suvarnabhumi Airport, I used the Oman Air Lounge for about an hour starting around 7pm.
Although it is not a large lounge, the appeal is that there are not many people and you can spend a quiet time. Depending on where you sit, there is also an outlet, so you can work on your computer for a short time.
The food was delicious, with hummus, vegetable and chicken wraps, soup, and green curry. I also like that you can enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine, which is a little different from the typical airport lounge.
The actual value of Wi-Fi was 14Mbps.
JAL Sakura Lounge in Suvarnabhumi is bright and suitable for work
I used the JAL Sakura Lounge for about an hour starting around 8pm.
It’s larger and brighter than the Oman Air Lounge, so it’s easier to choose your seat and work area, which is an advantage. On the other hand, the Oman Air lounge had more people and was quieter.
The cod roe penne I ordered this time felt greasy, and the bread didn’t suit my personal taste. As for the food, I was more satisfied with the food at the Oman Air Lounge.
The actual value of Wi-Fi was 15Mbps.

Freshly made noodle dishes and a sophisticated space are attractive. You can watch airplanes from the large windows. If you are returning to Japan, you should be able to feel a little rich in the feeling of traveling until the end.
Wi-Fi is weak, but power supplies are plentiful.Recommended for use for “enjoying meals and space rather than working”.

The Cathay Lounge I used at Haneda Airport two years ago was also impressive.
At that time, it was characterized by a relaxed atmosphere and high-quality design, and you could also enjoy freshly prepared food at the noodle bar.
If JAL Sakura Lounge is strong in “space and work efficiency,” Cathay seems to be differentiated by “quietness and quality of food.”

Tips for using airport lounges
